Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Wedding Ceremony Will Be Flanked By Army

Meghan Markle will soon walk down the aisle, and it seems like most of the major details have been revealed.

We know a little about the dress, the invitations, and the cake. Lately, we also discovered what would the bouquet consists of. The garden expert, Alan Titchmarsh, mentioned that Myrtle will be featured in the bouquet as “every royal bride has a bit of Myrtle in it."

Recently, another detail about the royal wedding popped out - the Armed Forces will be included in the ceremony.

The military forces have a special meaning for Prince Harry, as the ginger royal served in the British Army. It was announced that more than 250 members of the Armed Forces will take part in the ceremony and also in the carriage procession later.

The carriage procession through Windsor will follow the service at 1 pm where the groom and the bride will travel through the town. Then, they will return to Windsor Castle for the reception.

Kensington Palace released a statement that said:

Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle are pleased that members of the Armed Forces will play such a special role in their Wedding. The Military, and these units in particular, hold a great significance for Prince Harry and the couple are incredibly grateful for their support.

It was also mentioned that the Band of the Irish Guards will play for fans who will gather on the streets outside Windsor Castle, which is a nod to Harry’s brother Prince William, who is the Colonel of the Regiment.

Not a while ago, The Express reported that Meghan Markle could get a very special gift before her wedding day. It is believed she could receive her own Royal Coat of Arms as Kate Middleton and Sophie, the Duchess of Wessex, did.

After the wedding, Markle’s family crest would become part of a joint coat of arms with Prince Harry, binding two families together.
