The former Beverly Hills 90210 star, who announced in April 2017 that she was in remission after nearly two years of battling breast cancer, took to Instagram to share the recent round of test results on Tuesday:

Test and results. One tumor marker test came back good. Other... elevated. Just means I get monitored and another test.

Despite that, the 46-year-old actress is trying to stay positive. She continued:

But even after that call, I’m staying positive and taking stock of my life. It certainly helps put things in perspective and reminds you of what you learned thru the cancer journey. And I sometimes, need a refresher.

Doherty explained a little further:

As I’ve said before, cancer changes your life in ways no one could ever imagine. Btw, the elevation can be from all sorts of things. Oh and vitamin D... need more of that too.

She finished the post with a hashtag "#stillacancerslayer."

The actress has documented her emotional journey with battling breast cancer in August 2015 when she had to go through several rounds of chemotherapy and a single mastectomy.

She didn’t hide anything from her fans, showing her bare face and “bare” head.

Lately, Doherty has been working on the TV reboot of her 1988 film Heathers. She previously talked about how happy she is to be back on set.

The premiere was scheduled to debut on March 7th but was postponed by the Paramount Network following the deadly high school shooting at Parkland, Florida.
