“Dawson's Creek” was an extremely popular teen drama TV series following lives of a close-knit group of friends. The show ran from 1998 to 2003 and aired over 6 seasons. Over the course of the series, “Dawson's Creek” became a defining show for The WB.
And now, its cast has reunited 20 years after it was premiered. The stars, including Katie Holmes, James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson, and Michelle Williams, joined for a feature in Entertainment Weekly and a video on PeopleTV.
It was the first time the cast members had a meeting together. Katie Holmes commented:
I think we've all sort of seen each other over the years, but not everybody all together. And never for long enough.

James Van Der Beek mentioned he never expected the TV series to become so popular. He said:
I remember loving the script. I remember thinking everybody was amazing, the actors were perfectly cast, thinking, 'Wow, this is great.' But I think it would have been weird to have any expectation that it would blow up in the way it did.
Michelle Williams said she loved how the show affected its young viewers. She explained:
I loved that we were able to get in there in those formative years for people. That's why people, I think, are so connected to it. When something affects you while you were growing up, it kind of stays in there forever.
She also talked about her character’s death, which she didn’t feel strongly about. But she jokes she will be delighted to come back as a ghost if there ever be a show reboot.
