Will The Queen Give Prince Harry And Meghan Markle A Stately Home?

Date March 7, 2018

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have high chances to receive a grand gift from the Queen.  Prince William and Kate Middleton got a stately home after their wedding, which creates a possibility for Harry and Meghan too. However, the decision is up to Her Majesty.

Currently, the couple is residing in Nottingham Cottage, at Kensington Palace. William and Kate are also living in Kensington Palace, in gorgeous apartments with their two children: Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.

Two years after Kate and William got married, the Queen Elizabeth II presented them a gift – a stately home Anmer Hall, which is located on the Sandringham Estate. It was renovated for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in a £1.5million project.

Royal expert and managing editor of DailyBreak Kelly Lynch commented:

I’m not certain how many other homes are on the Sandringham Estate but I wouldn’t be surprised if one was gifted to Harry and Meghan. Especially given the fact that the royals spend Christmas at Sandringham.

York Cottage is a great candidate. It is also located on Sandringham Estate and is being used as the estate’s office, but it can be easily made into a home for Harry and Meghan where they can live near William and Kate.

Lynch added:

I will say that having homes near one another at Sandringham wouldn’t surprise me, since William and Harry are very close and I’m sure would want their children to grow up together.

But the expert mentioned she “wouldn’t rule out any available homes in Windsor”.

The former servant to Princess Diana made a statement that Meghan and Harry could start a family very soon because the prince wants to have a large family and children “as quickly as possible."
