Duchess Of Cambridge Inherits Patronage Formerly Held By The Queen Mother

Despite the cold weather, Kate Middleton doesn’t refuse from performing her duties. The Duchess of Cambridge didn’t hesitate a second to pay a visit to St. Thomas’ Hospital on Tuesday. She wore a spring outfit that made her growing baby bump even more noticeable.

During the visit, the Duchess of Cambridge was honored to take patronage that had been formerly held by Queen Elizabeth. She held the position until her death in 2002 at the age of 101. So, now, the patronage of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Nursing Now 2020 campaign is taken over by Kate Middleton. By the way, it’s her 16th patronage now.

This event was rather heart-warming for the Duchess of Cambridge as she had a chance to meet the midwife who helped her deliver Princess Charlotte. Kate Middleton was quite excited about that and couldn’t help but embrace the woman in a warm hug.
