Jenna Bush Hager Sends A Touching Message While Speaking About Her Granny’s Health

It’s been recently announced that the former First Lady Barbara Bush, 92, has been unwell. In fact, it is said she was seriously ill. She had a lung disease and heart failure. However, the woman refused to be treated in the hospital and decided to leave it and go home to receive some care there.

Jenna Bush Hager, the granddaughter, after the news about ex-First Lady’s health has announced the woman is feeling better now. She added the grandmother is ‘in great spirits’ and doesn’t need any medical treatment related to her ‘failing health’. Then, during the interview with NBC News’ Today, Jenna Bush Hager got a bit emotional saying:

We are grateful for her. She the best grandma anybody could have ever had — or have.

The ex-First Lady’s choice to terminate any kind of treatment has been widely discussed in the society. Some people openly condemned it, while others appeared to support the idea. For example, Nathan Kottkamp, founder and chair of National Healthcare Decisions Day, said:

It’s a personal decision that she didn’t have to share, but hopefully, it will encourage others to think about their choices, talk about their choices, document their choices and have those choices honored.
