Mom Who Struggled With Infertility Welcomes 7 Children After Winning IVF Cycle In Raffle

Date March 28, 2018

Millions of couples in the Unites States experience fertility problems. In fact, according to the NICHD, about 11% of women and 9% of men of reproductive age are affected. And Julie and Lance from Minnesota know everything about the struggle.

The couple had been trying to conceive for nearly five years after tying the knot. They even turned to 4 rounds of IVF, which only led to many miscarriages. But little did they know that their life would change soon.

In 2007, Julie and Lance attended the Resolve Midwest Family Building Summit. There, they received useful pieces of advice from specialists and had an opportunity to enter a raffle for a free IVF cycle. And they were lucky to win!

Of course, Julie completed the cycle right away, ending up with 10 embryos! A year later, the couple welcomed their first bundle of joy, daughter Kaitlyn. In 2011, 2014, and 2017, Julie gave birth to three sets of twins.

Now, the happy parents have 7 kids! And they don’t want to stop there. There are still 2 embryos to implant, and Julie wants to do it this fall. Of course, raising so many children is extremely challenging. But it’s definitely worth it.

It’s been amazing. My children have fulfilled my life’s calling. I wouldn’t trade it for the world and I love it.

Yes, miracles do happen, even if you don’t expect them. Recently, another couple from Utah was surprised to welcome a baby girl just hours after the mother found out she was pregnant. She had a brain tumor, and she was told she would never have kids. And since her periods were rather unstable, she didn’t even think about the possibility of pregnancy.

Congratulations to the happy parents!
