Princess Anne Visits Prince Philip In Hospital And Gives Important Update On His Health
Over the year, Prince Philip has got a lot of people worried for his health. First, he spent 2 days in a hospital treating an infection in June 2017.
In spring, the 96-year-old pulled out of an important event because of ill health. He didn’t attend the Easter Sunday service as well.
And a few days ago, the husband of Queen Elizabeth had to undergo a hip surgery at one of the private hospitals in London. Buckingham Palace didn’t clarify the nature of the problem but promised to give an update to the public as soon as possible.
So, what is the Duke of Edinburgh’s health situation now?
Earlier, it was revealed that the full hip replacement surgery was successful. But the royal is still at the hospital. It has now been more than week since he was admitted.
As for his recovery progress, Philip’s daughter Princess Anne was glad to share the good news. The 67-year-old visited the King Edward VII hospital to check on her dad.
And when she was leaving the health-care institution, she told the assembled media that the Duke of Edinburgh was “in good form.”
What about his discharge?
We still don’t know when the prince will be discharged but hope it will be as soon as possible.
Sadly, Anne was the only member of the family who visited the Queen’s husband in the hospital, which caused some negative reactions on the Internet.
Prince Philip has been in hospital for 10 days and today was the first day he had a visit from a family member Princess Anne. What sort of family are they ! It's not like they "can't afford to travel" or get time off "work" visit! I find that quite sad :( #PrincePhilip

On the other hand, some users took the whole hip-surgery situation less seriously, creating funny memes.
One can confirm that the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, woke up from his hip surgery singing Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing.”

Hopefully, the duke will soon get back to his daily activities. Not long ago, he was spotted taking a carriage ride and enjoying the company of horses at Windsor Castle. And it is a known fact that the prince loves carriage driving.

Besides, he surely doesn’t want to miss the wedding of his grandson Harry with Meghan Markle.
