Although the couple decided to keep the gender of their baby a secret, the palace has already bestowed a title on the coming royal. The new baby will be His Royal Highness Prince NAME of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or Her Royal Highness Princess NAME of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

It may seem like an extremely long title for a child, but it is in accordance with British tradition. However, the new baby is likely to have a shorter and more compact title for general addresses.

Did Prince William reveal the baby’s gender?

Prince William recently watched his favorite team, Aston Villa, beat Cardiff City at Villa Park on Tuesday. He was captured on camera in the company of former player John Carew.

After the winning goal, an excited Prince William said to fans, “I’m going to insist the baby is called Jack,” before adding after a pause “... or Jackie”.

Jack Grealish scored a spectacular goal that provided the late win for his team. Was this just a coincidence or did Prince William just drop the biggest hint so far?

In addition, Prince William was wearing a blue scarf during the game. Another sign or pure coincidence? Your guess is as good as ours.

Preparations for the delivery are underway

The hospital where Kate Middleton is expected to give birth has already started making arrangements for her arrival. Temporary parking restrictions have been placed on the premises.

This week, signs were noticed in front of the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London. The signs are expected to remain in place until April 30. For official reasons, the sign simply reads “Event” as an explanation for the restriction.

The wing has also gotten a touch of paint as well. It happens to be the same hospital Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born at. Although the palace has not announced a specific date for the birth, all signs point to April 23.
