Long before the official announcement of the royal birth, speculations were high that the child was going to be a boy. Interestingly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said they were not interested in knowing the gender of the baby before its birth.

Prince William may have unintentionally spilled the beans on their little secret, but now, there is nothing else to hide. The duchess gave birth on Monday morning to a healthy baby boy, and she is doing just fine.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are two peas apart

After the new royal was born, his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, paid him a visit. They were led into the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital by their father, the Duke of Cambridge.

Both children looked very adorable on a special day, and without a doubt, they were delighted about seeing their baby brother. However, there was something striking about the disposition of both children.

While Princess Charlotte was all smiles and waving, Prince George seemed quite sober and detached from the activity.

For most of the walk to the hospital, he had his head down of fixed on some object in the distance.

It is hard to imagine what was going on in his little head, and it could be a lot of things. Maybe, the little prince woke up on the wrong side of his bed.

Alternatively, he may have been a little concerned about having a baby brother joining the family soon. Whatever the case, he looked deep in thought.

Prince George has been known to get shy in public, so this is not an unfamiliar sight. It is likely that the presence of cameras at the hospital also put him on edge.

Photos taken at the visit suggest that Prince William may have tried to ginger his son a bit, but his efforts largely failed, as Prince George’s expression hardly faltered until he entered the building.

His mother says Charlotte has always been feisty

Little Charlotte seems to be getting a lot of attention compared to her brother George. According to PEOPLE, Charlotte’s mother once told Samantha Burge, a wife of Warrant Officer Class 2 Chris Burge, that Charlotte is quite the boisterous toddler.

She said that Charlotte is growing up really fast. She is the one in charge. We have both got 2-year-olds and they are ruling the roost.

Burge reportedly had a 'mummy chat' with the duchess in 2017 at a war memorial event. And if this is anything to go by, Charlotte’s bubbly persona at the hospital is pretty much expected.

Prince George may have a shy streak, but he is all in his element at home. While sharing tidbits on what life at home with the family is like, the duchess revealed that George loves to bake but always ends up making a major mess. Clearly, he has his own ideas on how to display that positive toddler energy.
