Oprah Winfrey's Golden Globes speech

The talk show host was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the event. Her appreciation speech left everyone absolutely stunned.

Oprah's speech was centered on the recent wave of stories of sexual assault and harassment against women that have been erupting in the news. She reached out to all women who have been victimized saying "a new day is on the horizon."

What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have.

Is Oprah interested in being the next POTUS?

According to a couple of sources who spoke to CNN, Oprah may actually be thinking about running for president for real.

In fact, according to one of the sources, this was not a new conversation. Oprah and her close confidants had been discussing the matter for many months, but she was yet to make up her mind about taking the political plunge.

What does Donald Trump think?

On Tuesday, while speaking to reporters during a meeting, President Donald Trump addressed the ongoing social media presidential campaign for Oprah.

He said that even though he liked the TV host, he did not think she would actually run. And if she did, well, Trump was confident he would emerge victoriously.

I'll beat Oprah. Oprah would be a lot of fun.

"I like Oprah," he added. "I don't think she's going to run. ... I know her very well."

Evidently, all the #Oprahforpresident and #Oprah2020 thoughts are not bothering Trump one bit. But we think there's nothing wrong with Oprah giving them a shot. Who knows? She may just become the first female president of the United States.
