There is a new Kardashian woman in the building. CNN got first-hand information from sources close to the clan that Khloé Kardashian has given birth to a baby girl.
Khloé announced her pregnancy in December 2017 after keeping it a secret for months. The father of her child is Tristan Thompson. She dropped a hint about the pending delivery on Monday with an Instagram post, and it seems to have finally come to pass.
The celebration has already begun
Not long after news of the delivery broke, sister Kourtney Kardashian shared this adorable throwback photo of herself and her sisters, Kim and Khloé. It is clearly in celebration of the new arrival.
The Kardashian clan has always been a very close unit. Their reality TV show, Keeping Up with The Kardashians, may offer a semi-scripted version of their lives, but the reality never changes.
Khloé’s sisters have been particularly supportive of her during her pregnancy. She even formed a baby-boomer tag team with her kid sister, Kylie Jenner, who recently gave birth.
There is still the million-dollar question of baby's name, but surely, Khloé will soon get around to it. What do you think on the new baby?
Sibling connections are important
Living with siblings comes with its own challenges, especially in growing years. Sibling rivalry tops the list of issues that may arise. However, forming a strong connection with siblings is key to even social and mental development.
According to a study performed by the Institute of Personality and Social Research at the University of California, Berkeley, birth order among siblings is generally important.
Generally, older siblings tend to possess qualities that make them stand out. They often take up the position of protector and are quick to stand up to their parents when they perceive injustice.
In addition, sibling connections provide an opportunity for young minds to learn about relationships and how to socialize. This provides the basis for most future interaction with people outside the family.
