Prince Charles Needs A Private Toilet Seat When He Travels

In the infamous biography written by Tom Bower, titled Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion, and Defiance of Prince Charles, the journalist claimed that Prince Charles carries his own toilet seat when traveling. Yet to be confirmed, the rumor has sparked interest as to what the royals request when traveling.

Patrick, 8, and Annie, 10, Riley made the royal couple Anzac biscuits and presented them with a bunch of flowers. Annie said she planned to tell the royals “thanks for coming to the Gold Coast.”


The pair, wearing their best clothes and watched by their beaming mom, dad, and baby sister, were invited to meet Charles and Camilla, who shook their hands and spoke with them.


The royal couple was presented with the Final Marker in a new Commonwealth Walkway on the beachfront on the Gold Coast on this afternoon.

The royal reveals the truth about his toilet seat


Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, recently attended the opening of the Commonwealth Games in Australia.

While being interviewed on an Australian radio show, the prince was caught off guard when asked about his traveling request requirements. He replied:

My own what?” Before adding “Oh don’t believe all that c**p.


Unsatisfied with the answer, the host turned the question over to Camilla and asked: “So he doesn’t carry his own toilet seat when he travels?” The Duchess of Cornwall replied:

Don’t you believe that!

Reported, Mr. Bower described the prince in his book as “vain and out-of-touch.” According to Bower, the Prince of Wales demands some items when traveling. Alongside his toilet seat, he carts around Kleenex Premium Comfort toilet paper, fresh linen, and radio.


Prince Charles is also said to change his clothes five times a day and travels with his mattress. The royal family is required to attend many state visits every year. As an experienced traveler, the Queen has many travel items she never goes without.

The Queen is known to never travel without a collection of her signature bright outfits. Surprisingly though, the Queen always takes the all-black wardrobe. Just in case a member of the royal family should pass away, the Queen would be required to morn in black wherever in the world she may be.
