'It Was Top Secret!' 24-Year-Old Who Printed Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Wedding Invitations Talks About The Experience

Date March 26, 2018

Ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding which will hold in a couple of months, invitations have already been sent out.

The guest list

600 lucky guests have now received the coveted invitations to one of the biggest event of the year - the royal wedding. In addition, a select few (200 of them to be exact) have also been invited to an after-party at the Frogmore House.

This was confirmed on the Kensington Palace social media pages. The 600 wedding guests will, of course, include the royal family, Meghan's parents, and the couple's close friends.

The invitations, which were sent out this week, were produced by Barnard and Westwood.

An excited intern

Lottie Small, who recently completed her apprenticeship at Barnard and Westwood, was the lucky staff who got to print the invites.

The 24-year-old said she "squealed a little bit" when she was given this very important royal task. Small also recently revealed that the hardest part of the whole thing was keeping the job a secret, especially from her mother.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, she said:

The worst thing is keeping it from Mum. With anything else, she'd be the first person I would call and she'd share in my excitement.

A royal baby?

Even as we continue to anticipate the big wedding day, many are already waiting when another royal pregnancy will be announced. And according to royal expert, Katie Nicholl, it may be sooner than we think.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Nicholl explained that Harry is very keen to start a family as soon as possible.

"He's made no secret about wanting children," she said. Being an uncle to Prince George and Princess Charlotte has apparently intensified this yearning, and there's a very good chance that he and Meghan will not wait too long before welcoming their first child.
