One of the greatest tennis players ever, Serena Williams, had a baby recently. Little Alexis Olympia is only 6-month-old but already got her tennis racket!
On September 13, 2017, it was announced that Serena and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, welcomed their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. The baby was actually born on September 1. The couple kept in secret Serena’s pregnancy. However, after the tennis star “accidentally” posted a photo of her 20-week baby bump, everybody knew she’s having a baby soon.
Alexis and Serena got married after their childbirth on November 16, 2017. The wedding ceremony was one of the most glorious you could imagine! Such famous personas, like Beyonce and Kim Kardashian, attended the event. Little Alexis also was with her family that day and was carried by Serena’s mother.
The daughter's mini racket
Now, Serena Williams is finally making her comeback on the tennis court. To support her mom’s return, sweet Alexis was wearing an “S” pin and was playing with her little Wilson tennis racket. “S” stands for Serena, Strength, and Sureness. Is Alexis going to be the second Serena Williams in the tennis history? Honestly, the chances are pretty big!
The tennis super-star made her comeback successful by winning over Kazakhstan’s Zarina Diyas on the International Women’s Day. It wouldn’t be that great without the support of her husband and daughter for sure. Recently, Ohanian bought 4 billboards and put his own signs with pictures of Serena and their daughter on them saying “G.M.O.A.T – Greatest Mom Of All Time!”
Own career path
Statistically, choosing the same career path as your parents is a quite common thing. History knows way too many dynasties to use as an example. Often, the pressure for children could be incredibly high, especially for those with celebrity parents. Kids simply feel like they don’t have other options. Hence, it is the parents’ job to show them different opportunities.
We hope that Alexis Olympian Ohanian Jr. will have her freedom of choosing her own career path. However, no one will be upset if she chooses tennis.
