Cindy Crawford was one of the first supermodels to diversify her career and present television programs, make fitness videos, as well as pose for Omega, Revlon, and others.

By 2000, she had dethroned Elle MacPherson as the world's best-paid model - having earned over £23 million at that point. Before modeling, Cindy Crawford completed part of a Chemical Engineering scholarship at Northwestern University.

It is Lenny Kravitz who is said to have been instrumental in persuading her to make her catwalk comeback in Milan in July 2000. In 2004, she launched an anti-aging beauty range with Dr. Sebagh, called Meaningful Beauty. Famously down to earth, she once said: "Even I don't wake up looking like Cindy Crawford."
