During the winter holidays, people get an additional chance to thank the others and wish them well. And while good old Christmas cards are still quite popular, social media posts proved themselves to be a way more effective tool.

So, on the Christmas day, President Donald Trump and his relatives took to social media to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Greetings from the First Family

This year, the messages from the First Family members were filled with all kinds of emotions.

The 45th President of the U.S. posted a short video in which he and his wife, Melania Trump, were wishing America “a very Merry Christmas.”

Melania also posted a funny Christmas selfie on her Facebook page.

But the most emotional and touching message came from Eric Trump, the 33-year-old son of Donald and Ivana Trump.

In one of his Christmas posts on Twitter, Eric paid an emotional tribute to “those who paid the ultimate price” - the fallen members of the military. The man accompanied his touching message with a photo of Christmas wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.

In his second Christmas post, the entrepreneur shared a sweet family photo of himself, his wife Lara Lea Yunaska and their little son standing alongside the President and the First Lady.

The Obamas also took it to Twitter to share a cute and funny family photo and wish everyone happy holidays, and so did the former First Lady Laura Bush.
