Date November 27, 2017

Jordan Fisher was recently crowned the 25th winner of Dancing With The Stars.

Last week, Fisher and two other contestants faced off for the season finale of the reality dancing competition but it was the young man who emerged victoriously and took home the Mirrorball Trophy.

Jordan Fisher's achievement

Not everyone who has been dancing for decades gets to take home the coveted Mirrorball but in Fisher's case, his dance experience came in handy. The 23-year-old is a singer, dancer, and actor. His acting career includes some recurring role in such TV shows as The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Liv and Maddie. He also played Noah Patrick in Teen Wolf.

The young talented man has been interested in the entertainment industry since he was quite young. He began dancing in the 5th grade and over the years, in several projects, he honed and developed his skills. In 2016, he took on the role of John Laurens/Philip Hamilton in the Broadway production of Hamilton.

On the night of the finale, Fisher, Lindsey Stirling, and Frankie Muniz went head-to-head for the prize but Fisher and his partner, Lindsay Arnold earned overall perfect scores for their final dances which put him on top. Stirling came in second while Muniz became the second runner-up.

Speaking to PEOPLE afterward, Fisher said he was grateful and overwhelmed by the whole experience.

There aren’t words you can use to express — there’s something about putting in 12 weeks of work and time and energy and blood and sweat and tears into something and being rewarded like this at the end of the day.

Congratulations to the talented duo. We think this was a win that was very well deserved.
