Jenna And Barbara Bush Celebrate Their 36th Birthday And The Release Of Their Book
It’s almost unbelievable that Jenna Bush Hager and her twin sister Barbara Bush have turned 36 yesterday, on November 26th, 2017.
Jenna published a set of pictures of her together with her sister on Instagram, captioning it:
Happiest Birthday to my partner in ALL for the last 36 years! I can't imagine my life without your enormous heart, teaching me to love and your hand entwined in mine all these years. Thanks for sharing this wild and precious life with me! Love you, beast.
To congratulate her beloved girls, their mother and the former First Lady Laura Bush shared a touching photo on her Instagram page, showing her husband holding newborn sisters in his arms, and captioned the image:
Thirty-six years ago today our precious girls were born. They’ve brought joy to our lives every day since. Happy Birthday to Barbara and Jenna!
Jenna and Barbara appeared on Today’s show to open up about their growing up together, share their memories and feelings for each other, and talk about their special bond, which connects them from their birth. Jenna said:
From the moment I was born, I had this person who lifted me up.
She adds that a sister is someone who will “always have your back and empowers you to be your best”. The sisters share their laughs and cries, they support each other no matter what. Barbara added:
It's someone that will share your life with you, the good and the bad, and be alongside you as you go through life.
Jenna and Barbara Bush also presented their new book, called "Sisters First: Stories from Our Wild and Wonderful Life". They said they wanted to reveal the true essence of who they are and tell their own story.
The parents of the famous twins, ex-President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, have recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They met in Midland, Texas in July 1977. George was the son of the former director of the CIA, and Laura was a school librarian and teacher. They fell madly in love, and in November of the same year, they tied the knot.
Bush’s career developed rapidly, resulting in his winning of the presidential electoral campaign in 2001, running against Democratic Vice President Al Gore. He served as president for two terms, until Barack Obama was elected as the new head of the state in 2008.
Happy birthday to the wonderful ladies! Please, watch their full interview on Today’s show in the video below.
