Kate Middleton Gave Her Majesty A Homemade Gift On Their First Christmas Together

Finding a perfect Christmas present is not so easy for most of us. But imagine you need to get a gift for the Queen of England. You might be having a little panic, don’t you think?

Kate Middleton experienced such problem during previous Christmas, she was worried about what to buy her royal grandmother-in-law. She presented Her Majesty with a homemade gift, and the Queen’s heartwarming reaction proved that Kate made the right choice.

Homemade gift for the Queen

It seems like Her Majesty already has everything she could ever want or need. It’s not so easy to surprise the queen with a perfect gift, but last year, Kate Middleton excellently coped with this complicated task.

The Duchess of Cambridge confessed she was a bit nervous while thinking about a present for Her Majesty. She said:

I thought, ‘I’ll make her something, which could have gone horribly wrong.'

But fortunately, Kate’s present had a huge success. So, what did she give to Her Majesty? Kate cooked a homemade marrow chutney according to her grandmother’s special recipe.

I was slightly worried about it, but I noticed the next day that it was on the table.

Queen Elizabeth was deeply touched by such simple and heartwarming gesture. She said the chutney was very delicious, and Kate’s attention was totally priceless.

I think it just shows her thoughtfulness, really, and her care in looking after everybody.
