2018 Presidential Greatness "Battle": Obama Finishes Top 10, While Trump Came In Dead Last
A recent survey finds Trump is the worst president in the history of the US. However, what about his predecessor, Mr. Barack Obama?
Who is the better president?
Barack Obama served as the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017. We can definitely say a lot of things about Obama and his presidency, especially due to such a long term. However, it is better to use the official rating, which was published earlier this month. 2018 Presidential Greatness Ranking shows us the picture of great difference between Obama and today’s president, Donald Trump.
Barack - top 10, Trump - the worst
Barack Obama got into top 10 with his 8th place in the rating, alongside the greatest presidents ever, like Dwight D. Eisenhower (7th) and Ronald Reagan (9th). He actually went up from the 18th place when a previous ranking was conducted. Donald Trump, however, came in dead last, with the 44th place in the rating. “Obama was a better president than Trump” – it is the result of official rankings.
Brighter future for Trump
At least, we can say that Trump has the biggest room for improvement before the next survey is taken. Many presidents take a slow start in the first year, and then, they can make some corrections to their policies. However, considering Trump’s extraordinary persona, is he ever going to get better?
There are many polar thoughts regarding to the ranking
It speaks poorly to the field of presidential scholarship that political scientists have Trump ranked as the worst president of all time **after only one year on the job**, below presidents who e.g. helped blunder us into the Civil War & Great Depression. https://t.co/QGjW2gwCU4 pic.twitter.com/VpddS46Rkb

Some are blaming Trump directly:

Some people are defending Obama's greatness:
The 2018 Presidents & Executive Politics Presidential Greatness Survey ranks Obama #8, I would say that is pretty great. BTW, Trump is DEAD LAST with a score of 12 on a scale 1 to 100; Obama was #71. People who cannot get past race, will fail to recognize Obama's greatness. pic.twitter.com/R5pXqvP4nq
