Inexplicable crime

This horror happened in Superior, Arizona on March 26. Police was called to a home near Richard Avenue and Palo Verde Drive at approximately 11 p.m. There, the authorities found two deceased children in a car. The toddlers were strapped to their car seats when officers arrived at the scene.

The investigation still ongoing, and the cause of death is yet to be determined. However, police indicated foul play. Brittany Ann Velasquez is charged with two counts of murder and is being held on $2 million bond.

She lost her husband

Allegedly, Brittany’s husband died from drug overdose just two weeks after the birth of their daughter. According to the children’s grandmother, the family tried to help mother overcome the tragedy.

Reportedly, the mother had a minor criminal history and attended rehab in 2013. Although Brittany tried to create an image of the best mother for her children, relatives claim she was mentally unstable. They even called DCS many times to report that the children are in danger, but ‘the children showed no visible signs of abuse or neglect,’ as police stated.

The grandmother has created a Go Fund Me account for the children's funeral services.
