A horrible crime was committed in Castle Rock, Colorado. A mother of a newborn child tossed her baby onto a neighbor’s back deck completely naked, where the child was found dead 14 hours later.

How did it happened
Reportedly, Camille Wasinger-Konrad, 23, has just given birth to the baby and allegedly, right after that, left the baby in the neighbor’s backyard on the porch fully naked and ‘with the umbilical cord and everything still attached.’
Camille is charged with first-degree murder. She is currently in the Douglas County jail and held on no bond. “The mother” claims she didn’t know she was pregnant until the day she gave birth. She said to detectives:
Well, the thing is I I don't want to get in trouble. I woke up that morning between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. to bad stomach cramps, and the baby just came out. So, I just got rid of it.
She admits committing the crime
Wasinger-Konrad admitted that she went to the neighbor’s backyard fence and tossed the baby over a nine-foot fence. Blood evidence confirmed that the infant bounced off the back of a deck chair before landing on the neighbor’s porch.
It appears that, nor Wasinger-Konrad’s family, nor her boyfriend agreed to talk to detectives, thus making it almost impossible to know if they knew about Camille’s pregnancy.
Despite having an opportunity to save the child and keep her secret because of the safe-haven law, “the mother” decided to commit such awful crime. She took away her opportunity to live a normal life, and most horribly, she took her child’s chance to live. What kind of mother would do something like that?
