Danielle Brooks is surely and steadily becoming a star. We were all amazed by her performance in "Orange Is the New Black", but it seems like only the sky is the limit for the charming actress.
Talented and beautiful Danielle Brooks
Danielle was born in Georgia but grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. She was a part of a Christian family, and her first role was in a nativity play in her church. Brooks went on to finish South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts & Humanities and graduated Julliard School in 2011 majoring in drama.
Her big breakout came in 2013 in the hit series "Orange Is the New Black". Danielle portrayed Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson, the main character for which she got huge critical acclaim. In 2015, Danielle landed a role in the hit Broadway musical "The Color Purple". The actress dazzled everyone with her voice and charm, subsequently receiving a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a musical.
The actress recently ventured into fashion and unsurprisingly had great success. She made a deal with a plus-size clothing line concerning a three-items collection. The company, Universal Standard, agreed to make a sweaterdress, a creased shirtdress, and a pair of cute overalls. The sizes, of course, range from 10 to 28.
Finally I can talk about this!! I’m in a new movie!! https://t.co/mjkuo1P8pM

A new project, which is currently still in the hush-hush phase, is next in Danielle's agenda. The second movie by director Chris Morris will have Danielle Brooks and Anna Kendrick as its stars. The movie is still untitled, but considering Anna's and Danielle's work so far, we can expect it to be a real treat.
It is difficult to say what the future holds for the immensely talented Danielle Brooks. However, judging by her ability to act and her adorable charm, we are guessing that she is shooting for the stars.
