‘American Idol’ Host, Ryan Seacrest, Says He Was Wrongly Accused Of Sexual Harassment By A Former Show Stylist

One more celebrity man was accused of sexual harassment from his former collaborator. This time, it was a popular television producer and American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest.


Ryan Seacrest is accused of sexual harassment.

Nowadays, the unacceptable relationships between men and women, particularly in the workplace, are part of a national conversation. A lot of powerful and famous men have been accused of ‘inappropriate behavior’ after Harvey Weinstein case.

This time, a new wave of accusations came up in relation to Ryan Seacrest. American Idol host was accused of sexual harassment by a former show stylist. Seacrest commented on the matter to The Hollywood Reporter magazine:

In November, I received a letter from a lawyer representing a former show stylist. She claimed that I mistreated her more than a decade ago when we worked together.

Seacrest said this false accusation has followed the wave of stories of sexual misconduct that have come to light in the past few months.

Nevertheless, the host star denies any cases of inappropriate behavior in relation to his former colleague.

I’ve always aimed to treat all of my colleagues with honesty, respect, kindness, and compassion.

Guilty or not guilty?


After the E! investigation of Seacrest’s case, the company reportedly has found “insufficient evidence” to support claims against the host. The network spokesman announced:

 The investigation, conducted by outside counsel, found insufficient evidence to support the claims against Seacrest and therefore could not be substantiated.


The spokesman added the network is committed to providing a safe working environment where “everyone is treated with respect and dignity.”

At the moment, Ryan Seacrest continues his cooperation with the network and will be still hosting American Idol.
