Kim Cattrall announced her that her beloved brother, Chris, passed away just a few hours after posting that he was missing.

One day ago, the Sex and the City star had appealed to her Instagram followers to help to find her lost brother. Chris Cattrall had been missing from his home in Alberta, Canada.
His cell phone and keys were left on the table, and the front door was unlocked. Kim asked everyone for help in finding Chris. The star shared his photo on social media and captioned:
MISSING! This is my brother Christopher Cattrall or Chris as we call him. He has been missing since Tuesday…This is not like Chris... Help us bring him home safe…
Less than 24 hours after the actress had posted this message, she announced another sad news – her beloved brother passed away. Chris Cattrall was just 55 years old. According to the local police, there was no reason to believe there was anything suspicious in his death.
The actress asked her fans for privacy.
Kim took to her Instagram to thank everyone who offered support and help in finding her brother. The star also asked her fans for privacy in this extremely hard period.
It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall. At this time we ask for privacy but we want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time.

I know the unbearable loss of losing a younger brother. My own brother Paul was lost in a terrible motorcycle accident in July 2005. I still think of him every day, 13 years on.
