People Worry About The Fate Of Amazon After President Trump Attacked The Retail Giant In New Tweet

Date March 30, 2018

It seems like President Donald Trump went on the warpath with Amazon Corporation. On Thursday, Trump attacked the retail giant via Twitter, and people wonder whether Amazon is indeed ‘in danger’ and they should start looking for an alternative shopping platform.

Does President Trump hate Amazon?

It’s pretty clear that Donald Trump is not a big fan of Amazon. Who knows, maybe, the president is just not fond of online shopping or prefers another retail company. Nevertheless, customers began to worry about the future ‘well-being’ of the corporation since Trump attacked Amazon in his recent sharp tweet.

In his message, President Trump expressed his negative attitude to the way Amazon pays taxes. He added that Amazon’s shipping practices do not correspond to those established by local governments.

Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state & local governments, use our Postal System as their Delivery Boy…

The White House press secretary announced that at the present moment, they do not plan to apply some specific policies or actions against Amazon.

It was not the first time when Trump expressed his controversial opinion about Amazon in general, and its CEO, Jeff Bezos, in particular. In 2017, Donald tweeted that Amazon is doing great damage to taxpaying retailers and due to that, many jobs have been lost.

Trump made a particular accent on Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, who also owns the popular edition The Washington Post. Mr. President explained:

The @washingtonpost, which loses a fortune, is owned by @JeffBezos for purposes of keeping taxes down at his no profit company, @amazon.

Bezos didn’t reply to Trump’s recent tweet yet, but it’s quite obvious that Amazon is now on a ‘blacklist’ of President Trump. Should we worry about the future fate of the world-famous retailer? Only time will tell.
