Rob Delaney's 2-Year-Old Son Has Passed Away From Brain Cancer

American actor, Rob Delaney, announced a demise of his 2-year-old son, Henry, who lost his battle with brain cancer. Delaney shared this sad news on his Facebook page last Friday.

Rob Delaney, best known as the co-star and co-writer of the popular British sitcom Catastrophe, revealed the tragedy that happened to his family. The actor and his wife lost their 2-year-old son Henry after a battle with a brain tumor.

The little boy was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016 and underwent surgery to remove it. Henry received the necessary treatment, but in autumn 2017, cancer has returned.

Everyone who went through a loss of close people knows how hard it is for Delaney and his family to cope with their grief. On his Facebook post, Rob confessed that only because of his wife and two other sons and their love, he will try not to go mad with grief.

My wife and Henry's older brothers and I are devastated of course. Henry was a joy. He was smart, funny, and mischievous and we had so many wonderful adventures together…

Delaney added he never lost hope that his little son would recover from cancer, but the terrible disease just left him no chance. The star thanked all the nurses and doctors who took care of Henry.

Rob also thanked his fans on social media for their support but asked for some privacy for his family during this extremely hard period.

I ask that you respect my family's privacy regarding this matter.


It’s hard to imagine what Rob and his family feel at the moment. When you lose a person you love, especially a child, it seems like the life has just ended. We hope Delaney will find strength to cope with this tragic loss.
