Air Search And Community Hints Helped Police Find 12-Year-Old Previously Missing 'Chance' Kelly

The local police officers have found the 12-year-old boy, lost in the southeast part of Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday morning.


Boy went missing

On February 27, Lashonda Campbell reported the police that her son hadn’t returned home after heading towards the pool area some time earlier.

Young Chancellor Aston Kelly didn’t return the next morning as well that caused his relatives concern a lot about his safety.


The local police department has involved air help to conduct the searches, but no evidence has been detected.

The family was desperate and asked anybody who would know anything about the lost boy for help.

Miraculous discovery

On March 1, North Carolina Union County Sheriff's Office has posted a short message on their official Facebook page:

Currently, there are no details why the boy went missing. The deputies have found ‘Chance’ in the local wooded area not far from his neighborhood. The law enforcement officers are grateful to everyone who provided any hint about Chancellor.

That is a miracle that the boy was found so quickly, safe and sound.
