Fabrizio Frizzi, Italian Television Star Who Gave His Voice To The ‘Toy Story’ Cowboy Woody, Dies At 60

Italian actor and television star, Fabrizio Frizzi, who won fans’ hearts after giving his Italian voice to the cowboy Woody from a popular animation movie Toy Story, has passed away at the age of 60.

Fabrizio Frizzi was one of the most recognizable Italian celebrities. Frizzi was known as a successful television presenter and voice actor. The star also proved himself as a devoted philanthropist, who devoted much of his time to the charity work.

During his lasting career on television, Frizzi presented numerous shows, including several editions of Miss Italia.

Fabrizio won kids’ hearts after he gave his voice to the cowboy Woody from the world-favorite Toy Story. He reprised the role twice with the movie’s sequels in 1999 and 2010, which had a great success too.

Fabrizio Frizzi passed away at the age of 60 after suffering a brain ischemia. He had a wife and a daughter. The actor’s family explained that Fabrizio experienced problems with his health for the last year. He was rushed to hospital in October after collapsing on set of L'Eredita.


His wife said she didn’t expect to lose her beloved husband just a month and a half after they celebrated his 60th birthday on February 5.

Numerous fans expressed their condolences to the Frizzi family.
