Thomas Markle Will Walk His Daughter Meghan Down The Aisle In May 2018, Says Bride's Sister
From the very beginning of their relationship, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not always follow the strict rules of the royal protocol.
For instance, Meghan was allowed to spend Christmas with the extended royal family at Queen's residence in Sandringham – a privilege usually meant for the royal spouses but not fiancees.
Also, there were rumors that it will be her mother, Doria Ragland, who would walk Meghan down the aisle on the wedding day in May 2018.
Her dad will be there
However, Meghan's 73-year-old father, Thomas Markle, will attend the royal wedding. Furthermore, the man will play his part in the ceremony and accompany his daughter straight to the altar.
The news was confirmed by Meghan's half-sister, Samantha Grant, Daily Express reported.
In a recent interview, the 52-year-old woman confirmed that Thomas will be the one to give her younger sister away when she marries Prince Harry in London.
Yes, he is, God forbid unless a plane crashes through his roof, he'll be there one way or the other.
Just recently, Thomas Markle broke the silence for the first time and shared his emotions and thoughts about the upcoming wedding:
I think it’s wonderful, I’m very delighted. I think they’re a very good match, I’m very happy for them, Meghan and Harry.
Meanwhile, Meghan and Harry made their first public appearance in 2018 during a recent visit to a Brixton radio station Reprezent.
