Carrie Underwood Finally Shows Her Uncovered Face For The First Time After The Terrible Accident
Country star Carrie Underwood is ready to show her face in front of the cameras after having “between 40 and 50 stitches” following her accident.
On Friday, she posted a photo of her face uncovered, while she was at the rehearsal with her band.
Underwood captured the photo with:
Missed these guys.
Earlier this week, the singer shared another photo showing her profile while spending time in the studio.
For months, she was hiding her face on social media with scarfs and other objects, but it looks like her face has finally healed.
In November 2017, Underwood fell outside her home, which resulted in many injuries, including a broken wrist and multiple cuts. After having a surgery, the singer warned her fans that she was “not quite looking the same”, adding:
When I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different. I’m hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal but, again, I just don’t know how it’s all going to end up.
Since the accident, fans have been sharing their well-wishes on social media. After her latest photos, they took to Twitter to share their feelings:
I don’t listen to country never really will, however, I think you are beautiful inside and out and no kind of injury will change that ☺️ and I am a fan of CU!

Carrie, you look great, but please always remember that your beauty has always begun and ended with your god given gift to share your soul through song with you fans, and that beauty is SO much more important than any physical attributes that the media wants to focus on!

I keep seeing stories about your face. Maybe you should go volunteer at a pediatric burn unit to regain some perspective. And thank God for your blessings while you are at it.
