Actor Idris Elba Visited The Kids At "Newham And Whipps Cross" Hospital In A Santa Claus Costume

It is always so heartwarming to see movie stars taking the time to do a charitable event. The famous actor Idris Elba put on a costume and did his best to cheer up the kids at Newham and Whipps Cross Hospital.

Apart from being one of the world's most handsome men, Idris Elba is also an exceptional actor. He has been nominated multiple times for the Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Awards For the Best Actor. He appeared on HBO's The Wire and BBC's Luther. His big screen credits include movies such as American Gangster, Thor, and its sequels, and Prometheus.

The kids at Newham and Whipps Cross Hospital ought to remember this year's holidays for a long time. They got a special guest in the form of Idris Elba who is actually born and raised in Newham.

All it took was the recognizable red suit and some white beard to make Elba the Santa. Idris was joined by his friend Stormzy in handing out Christmas presents and sharing a couple of laughs with the children. The good-looking actor looked natural in this role with both the kids and the parents being delighted to have this unexpected visitor.

Recently another A-list Hollywood star also visited a children's hospital. It was none other than Johnny Depp masked as one of his most famous roles - Captain Jack Sparrow. To the delight of children who easily recognized the famed actor, he took the time to have a word or two with all the children at the BC Children’s Hospital.
