What is a better way to round up the year than to tie the knot with the love of your life, and for Maria and Keven, it's the best moment to begin their family life.

The audience of the live broadcast from Times Square on New Year's Eve got more than they bargained for as they watched how Maria tied the knot with long-term boyfriend Keven. The pair, who have been together for close to twenty years, got engaged in 2016.

Despite the freezing weather, Maria still looked gorgeous in a white gown with lace top. The bride expressed her joy and happiness.

You’ve loved me, you’ve cared for me, in sickness and in health. Honestly, the way you helped me and my family in these hard times, I just wanted to marry you so bad,” Maria said as they exchanged their vows.

Keven similarly shared a heartwarming vow, “I got to spend the last 20 years with the greatest human being I have ever known. Maria, you are a blessing not just to my life, but to this whole world.

A silver lining for Maria's mom

Lisa Menounos who's battling stage 4 cancer still made it for her daughter's wedding, and the bride was happy to have her parents there with her on her big day (or night in this case).

Finally some good news for mom, We are getting married tonight in Times Square! I will be the coldest bride ever but the happiest! Seeing my parents happy means everything.” Menounos posted on her Twitter handle.

Friends took to social media to congratulate the newlyweds

Omg! I can’t believe we are finally getting married after 20 years,” Maria posted right before the ceremony. And right from that time, friends and fans took to her Twitter page to send their congratulations and well wishes for the new couple.

The beginning of 2018 ushered in Mr. and Mrs. Undergaro, and we wish them nothing but happiness as they start this new journey together.
