John Cena Opened Up About Some Rumored Bumps In His Relationship With Fiancee Nikki Bella

John Cena spilled the beans about rumors surrounding his relationship with fiancee Nikki Bella. He spoke to TODAY hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb about his wedding potentially being up in the air. The bumps in their relationship that could have led to the cancelation were hinted in a trailer for the new season of a reality show "Total Bellas" starring his fiancee.

In the trailer for the third season, a tearful Nikki was shown saying, "So we really want to call this off?"

Cena addressed that on TODAY:

I think in relationships, you have highs and lows, and that was an extreme low. You have two choices. You either jump ship and start a new relationship, or move forward and try to work through it. We're gonna move forward and try to work through it.

After that, he was asked if the wedding was still on, to which he replied:

Like I said, I believe we both have some work to do, and we're genuinely trying our best to work through it, so I'm very happy to say that it's in a situation that we're working through. We haven't yet jumped ship.

John Cena, 40, is a famous American professional wrestler, who is also known for his acting and rapping career. He is currently signed to WWE. Cena was called the greatest WWE star of all time by the industry veterans.

Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colaceis, 34, is an American professional wrestler, actress, and model. She is signed to WWE under the ring name Nikki Bella. Bella is a two-time WWE Divas Champion and was named Diva of the Year by Rolling Stone in December 2015.

The couple got engaged on April 2 at Wrestlemania 33.



After that, they gave an interview on TODAY telling about their wedding plans, but later, Cena hinted that their relationship had hit a rough patch.
