Donald And Melania Trump’s Marriage: What Is Going On?
Traditionally, presidents presented to the public a perfect image of happy and healthy marriage. Strong family bonds of the country’s leader is a reflection of how secure the country is by itself.
However, the current US President and his First Lady might be failing in painting the perfect picture. Melania and Donald got married in 2005, creating a classic “beauty+money” tandem. But since Trump won the elections, their marriage became scrutinized more than ever.

Melania’s coolness towards her husband couldn’t be left unnoticed. During Franklin Graham’s blessing, the President turned to look at his wife. She smiled immediately, but as soon as he turned away, her face acquired a miserable look.
When they were dancing their first dance as the President of the United States and the First Lady, it looked like Melania was pulling away from Donald’s face. This created a lot of controversies, as well as #SaveMelania hashtag on Twitter, making people think that Melania is an unwilling participant of her marriage.
But the truth is, she’s never been unwilling. No matter what came out of Donald’s mouth, what allegations have been made against him, she’s been always by his side.
During one of Trump’s interviews with Howard Stern, he mentioned that he doesn’t change diapers and doesn’t do anything to take care of his kids, saying that it’s the wife’s business. Melania later commented on his words by saying:
It’s very important to know the person you’re with. And we know our roles. I didn’t want him to change the diapers or put Barron to bed. I love every minute of it.
Trump’s behavior has never changed throughout the years, as well as Melania’s devotion. And even after Donald’s sexual allegations, which he denied, she is still his First Lady.
On Monday, when the pair walked together across the White House to the helicopter, Donald gently placed his arm around Melania’s waist and held her closer when she slightly stumbled.
It seems like a small, meaningless gesture, but in the light of recent events, it says more than simple words do.
