Prince Harry Fights For Sarah Ferguson's Wedding Invitation, And Finally Wins
Every circle, be it a royal one, or just a group of common people, has its outcasts. They tend not to notice such people, not invite them to the parties and just look down on them. And the royal circles are not an exception.
Everyone knows that Sarah Ferguson, Prince Harry’s aunt, hasn’t been invited to Prince William’s to Kate Middleton wedding. And it was anticipated that the Duchess wouldn’t receive her invitation to the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle as well.
Sources close to the royal family commented that she wasn’t on the list. And Prince Harry was against her presence at the wedding primarily because of her inability to respect the privacy of others.
Harry fights the Palace to win wedding invitation for his aunt.
However, as it appeared later, Prince Harry has decided to change his mind this time. He went against the Palace's decision not to invite Sarah Ferguson. He didn’t agree to the compromise suggested – to invite her only to the evening reception and insisted on her invitation to the ceremony as well.
Prince Harry is very close to her daughters and his cousins, especially Eugenie, who is going to marry this year as well. And that might be the reason he was so persistent with the idea.
Other possible guests
The invitations to the wedding will be sent very soon. Meanwhile, the list of those to be invited is ready, and the world tries to guess who those lucky ones might be.
Rumor has it that Harry might invite the former president of the USA, Barack Obama, to his wedding. But when speaking about Donald Trump, he hasn’t received an invitation yet.
However, it’s anticipated that Meghan’s co-stars of Suits will be among guests. People also hope to see Elton John there, because of his collaboration with Harry. David and Victoria Beckham could be on the list as well.
Time flies fast, and very soon we’ll see everything for ourselves!
