It's a great task being a leader of a nation, with that title come great responsibilities, along with media scrutiny of your every word and actions.
Canadian Prime Minister's joke has gone viral and become a meme.
Justin Trudeau interrupts woman
Last week, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hosted a Q&A Session at MacEwan University, in Edmonton. During the session, a woman named Aimee Forestier from a controversial feminist church, founded in North Korea, stood up to ask a question about volunteering.
While making her case and trying to convince the Prime Minister to look into the policies that restrict volunteering with religious organizations, Aimee used the term 'mankind'. At that point, Justin Trudeau interrupted her and suggested she use 'peoplekind' because the term is more inclusive.
Just in case you missed it, watch the video below to watch Justin Trudeau correct the woman.
Trudeau's comment on "peoplekind" instead of "mankind" has received criticism. A lot of people have taken to Twitter to express their opinions, and the following are some of their reactions.
1. Ontario Proud suggested we learn political terms to avoid being scolded by Trudeau.

2. Danielle said get it right bigots.
In the age of #peoplekind which has been ushered in by our feminist PM, Justin Trudeau:
Woman = Wopeople
Menopause = Peoplepause
Manicure = Peoplecure
Menstruate = Peoplestruate
Get it right, bigots.

4. Ali said it’s sexist.
Justin Trudeau's term, "peoplekind," is also sexist.
"People" is plural for "person."
See what I see?
What about daughters?
Per-SON is a gendered term, and therefore, "people" is too.
The correct term, if we do elect to use it, is:

He wasn’t joking: Justin Trudeau interrupts woman during Q&A when she used the word “mankind.” He recommended that she say “peoplekind” instead. pic.twitter.com/mG61BlDcVU

7. Ontario Proud again.
Justin Trudeau believes the term 'mankind' is sexist and that we should say 'peoplekind' instead. He actually said this last week.

8. Educating Liberals wrote, "Sorry for your culture-loss, Canada."
Princess Trudeau is offended by the word “mankind” and wants people to use “peoplekind” instead.
A made up word... At least go with “humankind” you dumb fool.
I also heard he plans on changing Manitoba to “Peopletoba.”
Sorry for your culture-loss, Canada.

9. Ghostly News promised not to make the mistake of voting Trudeau again.
I voted Trudeau. Won't make that mistake again.#Peoplekind

10. Daniel Dale’s opinion on Trudeau’s joke.
The US-right-wing pile-on re Trudeau's "peoplekind" is pretty misleading.
He was lightly ribbing a woman who was rambling about the power of women, "God the Mother," and how the world needs womanly love. Fox excluded her response to him: "There you go, exactly. Yes. Thank you." pic.twitter.com/Wl4QIumWrA

Trudeau says it was a joke
Few days after the video of his exchange with Aimee surfaced online, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters that it was only a dumb joke and that he doesn’t have a great track records on jokes.
Below is a video of Justin Trudeau addressing reporters regarding his joke.
Whether it was a joke or not, this is one comment people won’t forget in a hurry!
