Last week, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hosted a Q&A Session at MacEwan University, in Edmonton. During the session, a woman named Aimee Forestier from a controversial feminist church, founded in North Korea, stood up to ask a question about volunteering.

While making her case and trying to convince the Prime Minister to look into the policies that restrict volunteering with religious organizations, Aimee used the term 'mankind'. At that point, Justin Trudeau interrupted her and suggested she use 'peoplekind' because the term is more inclusive.
