Too old?

Dornan said this when he appeared on the ITV morning show Lorraine. The reason he gave for this major decision was his age. He said he is getting too old to make a fourth outing in the racy film franchise. Fans may not agree with him on this though.

He went on to add that he finally begins to like his character. He plays Mr. Grey alongside Dakota Johnson who plays Anastasia Steele.

Dornan is married to the British actor Amelia Warner with whom he has two children. He revealed on The Ellen Show that he is unwilling to get a ticket for his wife to watch him play the Fifty Shades character.

He also seemed a little uncomfortable because some fans had taken to calling him Mr. Grey and sharing details from the racy movie even with his children and wife present.

There are no other books in the series, so this may very well be the last film in the franchise, except E.L. James decides to write more.
