Jamie Lee Curtis Shows Fans First Pictures From New Halloween Movie
Jamie Lee Curtis has shared a picture from the set of the new 'Halloween' movie. This follows an announcement in September that the fan favourite horror flick will be revived.
A remake 40 years later
The actress will reprise her role as Laurie Strode in this remake that comes 40 years after the first 'Halloween' movie was made. The original motion picture, directed by John Carpenter, was released independently, and it was Jamie's debut role.
She took to Twitter to share the news with her fans and captioned the accompanying picture: "First shot! First day. Same slate. Same Laurie. David Gordon Green directing from his script."
Jamie also shared a shot from the movie, which is set for an October release, and it promises to be great.

She revealed on her Instagram page that she is doing some gun training in preparation for her role.
The original 'Halloween' movie, which set a money-making record for independent movies, made Jamie a force to reckon with in the horror movie genre.
The award-winning actress has played Laurie in sequels of this movie that has since become a franchise of ten films. She also stars as Dean Cathy Munsch in the Fox comedy horror series "Scream Queens".
Fans are, of course, excited. They have gone on Twitter to show their anticipation.
