Many parents say there is no moment in life as satisfying as when you hold your new baby. According to research conducted by the University of Western Ontario, parents experience a spike in happiness with their first born. But it decreases with subsequent arrivals.

The explanation for declining excitement is that probably parents are caught up with taking care of the older kids. Despite this, it is an amazing experience watching children grow. And they find adorable ways to show that they love you.

They take all the time in the world

The most popular complain parents have is there is never enough hours in the day when there are toddlers to take care of. It’s like time passes way faster as every minute is occupied. From shopping to cooking and cleaning, parents have their hands full.

While complaining may be in order, these moments are special. And they usually end up being the most memorable.

Some busy parents do not even get to enjoy the toddler experience. Still, there are some ways to cut corners for good. For starters, ready meals are not a bad alternative. You may miss out on cooking, but the minutes you save can be spent with your kids.

Secondly, cleaning does not have to be a daily routine. You can skip the mopping and dusting for a few days as long as toys are out of the way and your house is tidy.

It may not seem like a lot of time saved, but the minutes add up. And if you can afford family vacations, take them. Remember to have a camera handy to capture all the fun moments or have a photographer do it for you.

But time flies and they grow up quickly

And while you have the chance, enjoy your toddlers. They won't be all cute and cuddly for much longer.

They may not always be pleasant, and sometimes toddlers can be very irritable. But whatever the case may be, your toddlers love you in their own special way.
