Aubrey Drake hit a new high with his latest single released this year.
Drake’s “God’s Plan”
According to Billboard, ‘God’s Plan’ is enjoying the first place on the Hot 100 chart for another week.
The song is also ranked among the top 10 in both the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
Drake gives over $125,000 to residents of Miami
For the people of Miami, Christmas came in February with Drake’s visit to the city.
As reported in the Miami Herald, Drake gave the Miami Senior High School around $25,000 and committed to supply the students with OVO-designed uniforms.
Another charitable gesture was made to the University of Miami student, Destiny James. He got surprising sum of $50,000 in scholarship funds.
To top that, arriving at the Sabor Tropical Supermarket at 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, with a megaphone in hand, Drake announced that he would cover the bills of every shopper, amounting to $50,000.
Ernesto Rodriguez went on Twitter to express his appreciation for the Drake sponsored grocery shopping:

Predictably, Drake was gracious enough to take pictures with a few people and was even available to assist shoppers to find what they were looking for along the supermarket aisles.
Drake did not arrive in Miami exclusively to bring smiles to the faces of its residents. On Monday, based on local reporting, he was in Miami to shoot the music video of his successful single, “God’s Plan”.
The Miami Senior High School provided a location for filming portions of his music video, shortly after he donated to the school.
Speaking with E!, a grateful shopper, Guille Deza, said:
No one knew he was coming at all, we just came to do groceries. Cameras were being set up so we were all wondering what was to happen.
She also expressed the rumors going around that Drake was doing all this on the background of his upcoming music video.
Whatever the idea behind this was, we can't deny that it was an act of kindness that fans are ever grateful for. But what do you really think about Drake's donations?
