The Freak Accident That Changed Everything

In a tweet last November, the singer told her fans that she was involved in a fall, just outside her Nashville home, in which she broke her wrist. Shortly after, she made light of it, saying she wanted everybody to know she was okay.

However, in a letter to her fan club members, she revealed that the accident was worse than many thought, saying:

There is also another part of the story that I haven’t been ready to talk about since I have still been living it and there has been much uncertainty as to how things will end up. It’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life.

Underwood hasn't been seen much since then, that is, till this "The Champion" video for the Super Bowl LII.

Scar-Free: Carrie Underwood Is Back And Looking Like A Champion

While there has been speculation as to whether the video was shot before her freak accident or not, one thing is for certain: We have a winner here!

Carrie Underwood looks stunning in the video with no visible scars, and her voice harmoniously syncs with the instrumentals, giving her fans that familiar Underwood sound they have come to love her for.

And the icing on the cake is the rap verse by Ludacris that coincidentally leads into Carrie singing, “I am invincible.” That pretty much sums up how Underwood probably feels right now.
