Melanie Griffith finally reveals the scar on her nose that was hidden for the last few months.
First operation and consequences
The American actress best known for her roles in RKO 281 (1999), Buffalo Girls (1995), Working Girl (1988), as well as Something Wild (1986) was suffering from the skin cancer and underwent the first operation back in 2009.
Melanie was amazingly fortunate with the treatment as it was timely enough to prevent any possible complications.
Her first public appearance after that took place in 2012; however, she still had quite visible signs of postsurgical scars.
Red carpet in Vienna
In recent months, Melanie Griffith wore a bandage on her nose that suffered the most after the series of operations.
However, on February, 7 when the celebrity attended Grand Hotel Wien for the upcoming Vienna Opera Ball, her fans could finally see her face without any covers.
Melanie was wearing a neat black dress on the red carpet and has definitely attracted everybody’s attention.
The scar reminds of the last surgical intervention happened about five months ago, but everything looks much better now than in 2009.
After leaving the Hollywood filmmaking industry, Melanie can feel calm about her name and legacy. Her daughter, Dakota Johnson, is now a world-famous actress, primarily for her role of Anastasia Steele in the screen adaptation of the world’s bestseller masterpiece Fifty Shades of Grey.
Mrs. Griffith is surely proud of her darling in reaching the great tops. Even though Dakota’s acting is simply marvelous, she will always remind the public about her fabulous mother.
