After leaving the Hollywood filmmaking industry, Melanie can feel calm about her name and legacy. Her daughter, Dakota Johnson, is now a world-famous actress, primarily for her role of Anastasia Steele in the screen adaptation of the world’s bestseller masterpiece Fifty Shades of Grey.

Mrs. Griffith is surely proud of her darling in reaching the great tops. Even though Dakota’s acting is simply marvelous, she will always remind the public about her fabulous mother.
