Final Wish Of Cancer Stricken Teenager To Get Married Proves That Its Never Too Late To Fulfill Ones Dreams

This is not only a popular saying but a statement of fact. As long as there is still breath in our chests, there is hope for the fulfillment of one's dreams.

That sums up the story of Dustin Snyder who fulfilled his life-long dream even in the face of death.

About Dustin Snyder

The nineteen-year-old has been battling a rare kind of cancer called synovial sarcoma for ages. Dustin would usually go for series of operations, have the tumors removed only for them to come back worse than they were before. At last, the doctors told him he has only weeks to live.

But Dustin Snyder had one final wish, a wish he had held in his hearts for quite a long time and that is to get married to his childhood sweetheart, Sierra Siverio, who had been by his side all through his cancer battle.

Speaking of her, Dustin said:

I love her. She’s been there for me through this whole process, ... she means the world to me. I wouldn’t be able to get through any of this without her.

The couple got married last Sunday and a photo of them exchanging marriage vows was shared by Dustin's sister, Brittany Hails. Friends and well-wishers flooded the comment section with their best wishes and prayers.

The prayer of one well-wisher was:

Congratulations to you both, I pray that what time you have together is blessed with more love than you ever thought possible. God bless you both...

Dustin says Sierra standing by him gave him strength. During the wedding, he said:

Sierra has given me the strength to keep up everything in my life.

Snyder told the news station later that after his first surgery, Siverio never left his side and that was when he knew she was the one for him. He didn’t want her to leave his life again.

His mother also confessed that the idea of marriage had given Dustin a little boost in energy too. This lends credence to what they say that:

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

Dustin's story is an encouragement that no matter what happens or comes against us in life, we can always hope for the best and make the most of our lives.
