Date December 15, 2017 11:26

Recently, there’ve been some news about Priscilla Presley and her Scientology church. She was the member for almost 40 years and joined Scientology right away after her husband's death. The daughter of Priscilla and Elvis, Lisa Maria, was also an adept in Scientology, but she left the church in 2014. However, she never made any comments on this.

Except for Lisa-Marie Presley, some of the actors also abandoned scientological groups, such as Demi Moore, Paul Haggis, and former wives of Tom Cruise - Nicole Kidman and Kathy Holmes.

The Scientology doctrine was created in 1955 by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. Talking about other celebrities, Tom Cruise is considered to be one of the most respected and influential member in the organization; Mimi Rogers, his first wife, introduced Tom to Scientology in the late 1980s. Today, he is the first public face of the religion. Another famous members of this team are john Travolta, Catherine Bell, Elisabeth Moss, Geoffrey Lewis, and more.

But as for Priscilla Presley, it’s still unclear. Her official representative said that she, on the contrary, didn’t leave the church and continues her membership. Priscilla didn’t comment this situation herself.
