Michael J. Fox And Tracy Pollan Prove Once More That True Love Conquers Everything

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan are one of a few Hollywood couples proving that true love exists, and it can overcome any obstacles. Being married for almost three decades, the actors have seen it all and supported each other in both good and bad times.

They met each other on the set of the TV show Family Ties in 1982. But even though their characters had impressive chemistry on the screen, their real-life romance started years later. Michael and Tracy have tied the knot back in 1988.

They had both a minister and a rabbi present at the ceremony because Michael is Episcopalian and Tracy is Jewish. That was the first time when the lovebirds did not let the differences between them affect their union.

But the greatest challenge for their marriage came in 1991 when Michael was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Their family kept the news secret up until 1998, but Tracy stayed by her husband's side all the time.

Later, she would recall these days in an interview with Oprah Winfrey:

A lot of my adjustment has been dictated by Michael's point of view. He's so relaxed and so accepting of where he is, and that makes it easier for me, the kids, and everyone around him.

The couple also has a few tricks that help them avoid unnecessary arguments, separate bathrooms, and DVRs being the two of them, according to Country Living.

They also are one of these couples who seem to feel comfortable working with each other. After all, starring in Family Ties and Bright Lights, Big City was what brought these two people together in the first place. And when talking about these years with, Tracy confirmed that she always feels “really comfortable working with him.”

In 2013, they have got one more chance to share the set with Tracy appearing in one of the episodes The Michael J. Fox Show.

Aside from working with her husband, Tracy has starred in several films and TV series, including The Kennedys of Massachusetts and Law & Order.

Today, Michael and Tracy keep supporting each other on every step they make together and serve as a real-life evidence of undying love that conquers everything.
