28-year-old Courtney Gessford has always had a very special dream – she wanted to be showered with lots of puppies. This idea seemed to be a little crazy, but she has never forgot about it and hoped that one day, it would come true.
And this day has come. Courtney’s friends took her to the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento to experience this long-awaited moment. The woman was fully covered with all puppies that were available in the shelter. It was the best and the biggest surprise she has ever received in her life!
Courtney Gessford is a very strong and purposeful woman, who never gives up. For the last four years, she has been struggling with a brain cancer. One day, she started experiencing migraines and other neurological symptoms, but she could never think it was a cancer. Unfortunately, doctors informed her that there is a tumor the size of a lemon in her brain.
Of course, Courtney was frightened and shocked, but her family dog Clyde has always supported her through this long battle. It included three brain surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. Now, her prognosis is positive, and Courtney is very optimistic as well.
Being around animals makes her happy and relaxed. Puppies brought so much positive emotions to Courtney, who needs them more than anything else. We hope that all other Courtney’s dreams will also come true.
