It turned out there is an extremely touching story behind this event. Grayson had gone through a long battle with cancer to be able to celebrate his 13th birthday.

One day, while looking in the mirror, he saw a big lump in his neck. His parents took him to the hospital immediately, where he was diagnosed with Stage 2 classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It was just the beginning of his struggle with the disease, during which he underwent 17 rounds of radiation before becoming cancer-free.

But it was not the end of the story for the little guy. After some time, his cancer returned, and he had one of his tumors removed. Moreover, he had around 20 radiations this time.

Grayson’s cancer story touched so many people’s hearts and inspired them to never give up.
