Kimberly Schlapman: A touching tribute to her grandmother

Kim who is well known as a member of the country band ‘Little Big Town’ and also for her cookbooks lost her grandmother the day before Christmas Eve. She took to social media to pay tribute to her grandmother saying Christmas Eve was her favorite time of year.

This is my Grandmother Bramlett. She’s 94 and her favorite day of the year is Christmas Eve. She has hosted our family’s Christmas Eve get together for over 70 years. Last night she went home to be with her Lord and was reunited with her husband of 63 years. Today she’ll be spending Christmas Eve at the feet of Jesus. I can only imagine the celebration! Grandmother, you had the biggest heart I have ever known, and we will miss you so much. Merry Christmas.

Moving on after losing her grandma

It must have been hard losing her beloved grandmother during the festive season But it didn't dampen Kim's holiday spirit as she shared a cheerful looking picture of the whole family a few days later.

Kim's grandmother is gone, but it's safe to say she'll carry on her grandmother's legacy of holding Christmas Eve celebrations.
